The content of magnesium containing 6% and 7% is a medium-magnesium series spheroidizing agent, which is mostly used in cupola furnace, electric furnace double smelting, or medium frequency furnace smelting pearlite type as-cast ductile iron casting. According to the wall thickness of the casting and the sulfur content of the original molten iron, the appropriate amount of spheroidizing agent is determined, and the scope of application is wide, and the spheroidizing treatment process is broad.

Characteristics
High-magnesium series spheroidizing agent, suitable for cupola melting, iron content of 0.06%-0.09% sulfur, the amount of addition is between 1.6%-2.0%. Low-aluminum spheroidizing agents are used in castings that are prone to subcutaneous pore defects, as well as castings that require aluminum in the molten iron. The spheroidizing agent produced by pure Ce and pure La has less pure inclusions and rounded graphite balls after spheroidizing treatment. The spheroidizing agent produced by cerium-based heavy rare earth is suitable for large-section castings, delaying spheroidization and preventing massive graphite. Sb-containing spheroidizing agent is used for pearlitic ductile iron. Low-silicon spheroidizing agent for foundry plants using a large amount of recycled material; nickel-magnesium spheroidizing agent for high-nickel austenitic ductile iron
