Casting common defects and treatment methods
 
One: The cause of the bonfire caused by the bonfire: the mold temperature is low; the exhaust is not smooth; the filling rate is too fast.
Solution: Increase the temperature of the mold to above 350 °C; strengthen the exhaust, mainly to increase the venting plug, and spray the paint with good permeability; increase the filling time, so that the cavity gas can be completely discharged.
Two: sticky sand The reason for sand sticking: the pouring temperature is too high; the strength of the sand core is insufficient; the holding pressure is too high.
Solution: The pouring temperature of aluminum liquid is not higher than 670 °C; reduce the baking time of sand core, maintain the strength of sand core; set reasonable pressure holding pressure.
III: Insufficient pouring The main reason for the occurrence is: low temperature of aluminum liquid, poor fluidity; unreasonable filling parameters, low flow rate during filling; poor exhaust of the mold, high internal pressure, and impeding filling.
 
Four: shrinkage The reason for shrinkage: shrinkage is mainly around the hot section of the aluminum wheel, gathering or dispersing fine voids to make the tissue not dense.
 
        Prevention method: pay attention to the mold temperature field, create sequential solidification conditions; increase the crystallization pressure.
